Thames’ homer lifts Yankees over Blue Jays

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Marcus Thames launched a tiebreaking homer in the seventh inning and the New York Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-5 on Saturday to set a season high with their eighth straight victory.
